
PEDRO PIU a.k.a PAMS
Graphic designer and art director working across
visual identities, typography, image composition and
experimental design.His practice combines editorial
thinking with contemporary visual culture, creating visual
solutions for music, fashion, brands and cultural projects.
Born in Brazil and based in Lisbon, Pedro Piu is a DJ, producer and music curator with over two decades of experience in underground music. His sets connect soul, disco, house and electro through research, careful selection and a strong sense of narrative.
His career began in Rio de Janeiro, where he performed at
venues including D.Edge, Fosfobox, Dama de Ferro, Club Cave,
Vegas and Pacha, as well as festivals and cultural events such
as Rio Music Conference, TribalTech, Universo Paralelo,
OutJazz Lisbon and Adhana.
Throughout his career, he has shared line-ups with artists including Tiga, Tale of Us, Underground Resistance (Live),
Henrik Schwarz (Live), Quantic, Anthony Rother, Danny Daze,
Bob Moses and Mix Master Mike "Beastie Boys".
His creative work spans music, fashion and culture, with collaborations for brands including Adidas, Nike, Diesel and Carolina Herrera, as well as projects for Globo.com, MAM Rio
and cultural events such as Arte Core, ArtRio and Arte Rua.
Since moving to Lisbon in 2022, Pedro has connected his
Brazilian musical and visual background with contemporary electronic music and culture.
His practice is driven by research, curation and the dialogue between image, sound and culture.
